That so called sting operation was very bad. A blot on journalism. All major newspapers have written edits on how “bad apple” has spoiled the entire basket. In such cases, action must be taken against defaulting channel.

The less said about the MSM the better. Most of the editors act as the pimp of the ruling party. And Barkha Dutts and Rajdeep Sardesais act as the coy schoolgirls/boys while interviewing the Chairperson of UPA.

And there were reporters of Aaj tak distributing posters of Sanjay Dutt to people standing around and asking them to dance in front of camera. I would like the I & B ministry to put a check on the media rather than going behind ftv & mtv !

O, that sting operation was a slur on journalism. Not that journalism doesn’t have its share of bad apples like other professions. But this was too bad. The reporter is behind bars. It’s an chance for the media
in general to do an introspection.
